A Nicaraguan agricultural technology delegation visited GDE for technical exchanges. Edit Date：2025/08/18

       On August 15th, an agricultural technology delegation consisting of officials from Nicaragua’s Ministry of Agriculture, technical experts from agricultural departments, and senior scholars from agricultural universities visited GDE for technical exchange activities, accompanied by relevant leaders from the International Cooperation Department of the China National Research Institute of Food and Fermentation Industries. Li Zhenzhou, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of GDE, and heads of the Light Industry Division, among others, extended a warm reception.

       This event constitutes an important part of the high-profile cultural and technological cooperation activities vigorously promoted by the governments of China and Nicaragua. In light of the actual needs of Nicaragua’s local agricultural development, GDE systematically conducted special training for the delegation in such fields as sugar production, tomato paste processing and cocoa processing, and comprehensively shared the current status of industry development, technological processes, technical paths and future trends. The participating experts and technical personnel conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on these aspects.

       Li Zhenzhou extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced GDE’s overall development situation. He elaborated that GDE has profound accumulation and rich experience in such fields as sugar and wine production, food fermentation, etc., and boasts unique advantages in industries including environmental protection energy and new chemical materials. Moreover, its overseas business has covered multiple regions such as Southeast Asia and Africa. He expressed the expectation that, taking this exchange as an opportunity, GDE would establish a long-term cooperation mechanism with Nicaragua, jointly deepen the markets in Nicaragua and Latin America, give full play to the complementary advantages of both sides, and contribute to boosting the common development of the two countries.

       During this period, the delegation toured the GDE exhibition hall and gained a comprehensive understanding of GDE’s development history, industry achievements and other aspects.
