On May 9th, delegations from Malaysia Worldwide Holdings Berhad (WHB) and Shanghai Electric Power Station Engineering Company visited GDE for inspection and exchange. Liu Zuoxu, Deputy General Manager of GDE, warmly received the guests together with relevant department heads. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including solid waste resource utilization, green energy development, and digital construction.
At the symposium, Liu Zuoxu extended a warm welcome to the delegations and stated that GDE has maintained close cooperation with Shanghai Electric Power Generation Engineering Company in multiple energy sector projects, establishing a solid foundation for further deepening collaboration. He also highlighted GDE’s technical advantages and benchmark achievements at home and abroad in the field of solid waste resource utilization, and systematically introduced the company’s innovative development in traditional light industry, strategic emerging industry layout, and international business achievements. Finally, both sides exchanged constructive views on green energy transformation and digital technology applications.
Ir. Mohd Shokri Daud, General Manager of Worldwide TG12 WTE Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of WHB), spoke highly of GDE’s technical strength and industry contributions in solid waste resource utilization. He expressed his expectation to further deepen cooperation through this exchange, leverage each party’s advantages, explore new opportunities for green energy cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, and jointly promote the development of waste harmless treatment, green energy, and data center construction in Malaysia to make positive contributions to local sustainable development.
During the inspection, the delegations also visited GDE’s exhibition hall and the Phase II Project of Guangzhou No.7 Resource Thermal Power Plant participated in by GDE, gaining on-site insights into the company’s advanced technologies and mature experience in solid waste treatment and resource utilization.
